Friends of The Chicago Reporter was launched in 2020 with the support of nearly 100 prominent journalists and community leaders. We believe that now, more than ever, the effective examination of race and equity in Chicago via data-driven reporting is crucial. The best way to ensure that the Reporter’s signature brand of journalism, mentoring and training remains available to support future generations of journalists reporting on injustice is to continue the Reporter’s work.
